SENIOR TECHNICAL ENGINEER (1 vacancy)

Reporting to the Technical Director, the successful candidate's responsibility is to lead a technical team to design and develop new products that will meet the international standards and market requirement, with shortest possible time to market. Another major responsibility will be supporting production to ensure the products designed are manufacturing worthly. The person will supervise several production maintenance technicians to upkeep the production equipment, trouble shoot production problems as well as improve production yields and efficiency.

The successful candidate must be mature, dynamic, able to work independently and have the leadership skills to motivate the team's performance. The person must have good communication skills and very good discipline in project management and must be result- oriented. Technically, the person is required to have good knowledge and skill in switching and power electronics, using various test and measuring instruments to diagnose, analyse and improve circuit design, innovative and be able to create and design using application notes from various components manufacturers. The knowledge and skill to analyse complex circuit and network is a must in order to perform this job successfully.

Minimum 5 years of experience in switching and power electronic design, preferably with lighting related products. Past working experience in the lighting industry is very useful. Experience in TEC standard and CE requirements will be a major advantage.

DESIGN ENGINEERS (2 vacancies)

Reporting to the Technical Manager, successful candidates will be responsible for designing and developing new products that will meet the international standards and market requirements with the shortest possible time to market. Another major responsibility will be supporting production to ensure that all the products designed are manufacturing worthly with good yield and efficiency.

The successful candidate must be dynamic, able to work independently, self motivated and a good team player. The person must have good communication skills and very good discipline in project management and must be result- oriented. Technically, the persons are required to have good knowledge and skill in switching and power electronics, using various test and measuring instrument to trouble shoot and improve circuit design. Good skill in circuit network analysis will be very useful.
